We are challenging you to design your own app!

Submit by 19th September 2025

We’re challenging you to design an app that you would like to use. It’s can be as serious or silly as you like but you need to tell us what the app does and submit four screen mock-ups that illustrate its functionality or aesthetics. 

You can design your app on paper or using any software you like. 

Extra Challenge

Create a clickable prototype using Figma.

Advice

If you are looking to make a mock up we recommend signing up for Figma at https://www.figma.com/

There are thousands of tutorials and help on YouTube. Below is a starter tutorial that Figma provide, they have a beginners’ playlist.

Note the following requirements:

  • You must submit your work by 19 September 2025.
  • Submit using the submissions the yellow link below
  • Make sure your post is public so we can see it.
  • Videos must be less than 30 seconds

There are no rules of what materials or technology you can use. This is entirely up to your creative intent, and what resources you have access to.
